What Not to Eat During
Detox
Most
detox diet plans go into a lot of details about what to eat and when but often
forget to outline just what isn’t allowed during a detox. Yes, the kinds of
food that you’re not allowed to eat during a detox is pretty self-evident but
it bears repeating.
Some of the food that you can’t eat for
the seven days of the detox are pretty obvious like fries, chips, sodas of any
kind, beer, or a Big Mac. Then there are the less likely culprits like coffee,
puff pastries, bottled fruit juices, and packaged food.
What all these food
have in common is that they are difficult to process, contain a lot of simple
sugars, and have a lot of additives. They hinder the process of detoxification
and will limit its effects or cause your diet plan to fail completely.
