Ingredients:
Ripe mango
Water or
mango juice
Preparation:
Wash the
mango and peel. Taste the mango first to make sure it is sweet and ripe and not
sour. Take enough for your baby (a teaspoon or two for four to six months old
and about a quarter cup for six to eight months old) and mash it up with a
fork. You can soften it up even more with some water or mango juice while
you’re mashing it into a puree.
Mango puree
can be kept in the chiller for a period of time to, about 12 hours, in a
container with a cover to avoid contamination but don’t keep it for longer than
a day. Tasting the baby food before feeding it to your baby is always a good
way to go.
